We are brokers. We work with a range of clients from developers to GC's to grading contractors to satisfy their dirt needs - and we hire the trucking companies to do the hauling for your project. Over years of being in the industry and spending millions of dollars on dirt, we've learned that the dirt business is a very small world that has a lot of pricing power. Sometimes it truly does cost a lot to import or export dirt from your site due to factors outside of your control, such as location and lack of complimentary needs in the area.

That said, we do not believe in marking up our scope of work more than a fair precentage, even if the client is in an emergency state.

There is hardly ever a time that two projects' dirt needs are the same. That said, we will work to find another project that has a complementary need from yours.

For example, if you need to export 10,000 yards of dirt, we are going to look for other sites that need to import, and then work to have all parties share the cost of loading & hauling. In this scenario, if it costs $150 per load to export your dirt to another client's jobsite, we would propose that you pay $75 per load, and the other client pay $75 per load (or whatever is determined equitable), making it cheap and fair for everyone.

Our primary goal is to keep our prices fair and transparent for all parties involved!

Upon requesting your bid, we will ask if you need pad certified dirt or material that needs to pass a proctor. Once we find a source and you have accepted our proposal, we will give you or your geotechnical engineer the location to pull a proctor. It is then your responsibility to proctor the material before the import begins, and it is also your responsibility to proctor it as it is delivered to your job site. This is specified in our proposal verbiage.

If for any reason it doesn't pass a proctor prior to delivering, we will go back to the drawing board to find you a new source.

If your project won't have a loader and operator onsite to load trucks, we can get that cost added to our proposal. If you also need us to manage our own dust control with a water truck, we can add that too!

Although we would love to help everyone relocate their dirt, we believe that our services are more valuable to large scale needs with commercial size contractors.

Once we find a source to satisfy your project's needs, we then send it out for bids for trucking companies, and we charge a fair overhead on top of the cost to haul the material.

We believe that higher volume and lower margins make for a better business model.

We might have a project near by that we are working with that may allow us to send you a bid the same day you request it. On the longer end of things, it could take a few weeks to find you the best pricing for your needs. Generally speaking, the more notice the better.
